Hey Francesco
We've dealt with hacks before. A while back one of our sites got infected. The hackers used the known TinyTim exploit. We were able to clean and recover the site, but this highlights that patching core and plugins is not enough: you must patch themes as well as the overall system.
For more information on how to secure WordPress, see my on <a href="http://www.infamia.com/2012/04/wordpress-security-10-crucial-website-maintenance-tasks/" rel="nofollow">WordPress Security tasks</a>.
I should note that my security philosophy is server-based. The goal should always be to provide strong security on the server and every site on the server. If you're not paying a lot for hosting, you're also at the mercy of all other websites on that server. Other security layers (firewalls, WAF) are good options but not a substitute for a secure server.

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?

My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?

I use Two-Factor Authentication across a lot of my accounts. I feel a lot more secure when I can telesign into my account with an OTP. I am glad that they offer that option. It is worth the time and effort to have the confidence that your account won't get hacked and your personal information isn't up for grabs. It would be nice to see more of the leading companies in their respective verticals start giving their users the perfect balance between security and user experience. I know some will claim that 2FA makes things more complicated, but the slight inconvenience each time you log in is worth the confidence of knowing your info is secure. I'm hoping that more companies start to offer this awesome functionality. To me this should be a prerequisite to any system that wants to promote itself as being secure.
